Laura Courtright (she/her)

Laura has been serving in Campus Ministry since 2010, and she’s passionate about walking alongside young adults in their journeys of faith, community, and justice.

As a proud UWSP alum, Laura knows the power of the Pointer community. She’s been involved in service projects across the country — from long-term hurricane recovery to urban renewal initiatives to inner-city mission work — and she’s equally passionate about serving right here in central Wisconsin.

You’ll often find Laura supporting local celebrations, like Point Pride and Juneteenth, and partnering with students in community outreach that uplifts inclusion, equity, and belonging.

Her favorite part of ministry? Creating spaces where students know they belong, grow in faith, and put love into action.

Rev. Cathy Christman (she/her)

Rev. Cathy is the pastor at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Stevens Point. She is an ordained elder and has served churches in Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

Her greatest joy in ministry comes through building relationships — often over a good cup of coffee — and walking with churches as they live into their mission, vision, and values.

When she’s not in the office, you’ll often find Cathy connecting with the local community and serving in the area of social justice. She brings a heart for inclusion, equity, and hope to everything she does.

We’re grateful for her leadership, presence, and passion here in Stevens Point!
